The Surge is a fast flying disc with a moderate sized rim. It has a degree of high speed turn, incredible glide, and a healthy amount of low speed fade. The Surge performs well for both backhand and forehand throws.
I'd compare the surge to a slower wraith, maybe more of a 10 speed than an 11 as it states. I used them extensively when I had a slower arm as my all around driver, it flies intuitively over a range of speeds and can be powered up nicely without needing too much width to work down the fairway. The Chandler Fry tour series starts off properly overstable, but from experience surges beat in to be hyzer flip dreams. ESP isn't really my favourite, it feels too slick and hard for the UK climate to me, however the swirls are cool as hell.
