Kastaplast has now retired the Grym, Grym X and Kaxe Z, so the is the last of our stock before this mould is gone forever from our shelves.
"The Z" is the beadless version of the Kaxe and is often considered to be a slightly seasoned Kaxe. Straighter and Glidier, but still dependable and Kaxey like!
Just as with the original Kaxe we have called it a midrange driver, but it’s just as much a fairway driver. A multi-purpose disc. The Kastaplast Kaxe Z can handle a decent amount of speed and wind, but will also perform better than the typical driver when powered-down. With this disc we’re introducing the Z as in Zero, symbolizing less stability than the original mold.
Suitable for: Control shots, forehand shots, 1-disc rounds.
Closer to an 8 speed than a 6 the Kaze Z is a glidey stable to over stable dream. This replaced one I yanked into a canal and startled some moorhens with.

Slim and fast
The beadless version of the Kaxe, this disc is a true fairway for me (unlike the standard Kaxe which is a mid/ fairway hybrid imo). I found this disc to simply be a faster and glidier version of the Kaxe, with only a small difference in stability. I think this compares well to a Zombee. Overall there was too much overlap with this and my K3 Kaxes, so it has not made the bag.
