Gold-Ice is a premium blend of plastics that provides a stiffness between Gold and Gold-X. It has great durability, and more overstable flights compared to regular Gold
Replaced my old Gold Compass which i loved but lost after trying out the Gold Ice plastic on my friend's River. Very happy with the grip, flight is still reliably stable. Doesn't handle off axis torque so well on the forehands, but is outstanding on the backhand at basically any speed. Keeps whatever angle you give it pretty well, but does stable out reliably on an anyhyzer.
Gold Ice plastic is terrific. Orange is offensively bright and impossible to lose.

I like this bad boy.
It keeps the angle if thrown at the right speed. Might be slightly stable but this allows it to flight straight on a 70m throw.
