I've got both the Discmania starter sets and this disc is a nice understable compliment to those sets which don't really have any understable discs. Really like the active baseline plastic as well, it's a great price entry point for a good quality disc.

This is a very good disc, ive been unlucky and mines taken some unnecessary damage but it still flys really well, actually a big fan, also love the design.

As the other reviews state this disc is crazy understable but great for rollers and hyzer flips to turn.

I have called MVP's Deflector a bit of a joke disc with a hard overstable finish that would make a Tilt proud. Well imagine putting a mirror against its flight path, and there you have your Genius. In all fairness, it tells you it carries a -4 turn, right there in black and white. But until you throw it, and see it dive to the right like a hawk latching on to some hapless rodent, you won't really appreciate how funny it is. Larks! [PSA: I am throwing it with the same power as I would a TeeBird to reach 90m, which the Genius is clearly not designed for. I am sure that if you are a beginner it will do a much better job of eaking out yardage on an air shot for you!]

I am new to the game but have only used Innova starter sets disc before. Thought I would try a different brand and I love this disc. Feels good to throw and helps correct my bad form of throwing to far left
