The Essence is an understable fairway driver that can easily become a do-anything type driver in your bag. You can take a little power off of it and let it naturally work its way down the fairway or you can release it on a slight hyzer angle and let it flip up and fly straight. Plus, without much effort at all you can execute some great anhyzer drives with the Essence. Once you learn what it naturally wants to do, you can really make the Essence work for you.
I loved the Essence Neo I got in the Discmania starter set and the Geo plastic is just a bit slickier and grippier and as such the Essence just feels really nice to throw. For me it flies really straight with a little fade at the end and just glides really nicely, a great driver for those with a bit of a slower arm speed.

Great beginner Fairway
Pretty much feels like the big brother to the origin with some additional distance potential. Great starting disc with some stability for slower arms but then hyzer flip and backhand roller options as well.

Perfect for beginners
I got my first Essence in a mystery box and as a beginner it became my go-to driver. I immediately bought two more, so I always have a spare. With my slower arm speed it had great glide and then a reliable fade, but as I've improved it's turned into a great hyzer-flip disc for distance and, when thrown flat, it just turns and turns and turns.
