Kastaplast has now retired the Grym, Grym X and Kaxe Z, so the is the last of our stock before this mould is gone forever from our shelves.
"The Z" is the beadless version of the Kaxe and is often considered to be a slightly seasoned Kaxe. Straighter and Glidier, but still dependable and Kaxey like!
Just as with the original Kaxe we have called it a midrange driver, but it’s just as much a fairway driver. A multi-purpose disc. The Kastaplast Kaxe Z can handle a decent amount of speed and wind, but will also perform better than the typical driver when powered-down. With this disc we’re introducing the Z as in Zero, symbolizing less stability than the original mold.
Suitable for: Control shots, forehand shots, 1-disc rounds.
Sorry, but I have a bias towards Kastaplast discs: from my first disc with them (Falk), I have never been disappointed and the reviews you can read here and there on the internet show that this is not just me. The KaxeZ is no exception: it is an amazing longish midrange disc. The "Driver" label may be a little optimistic but I must also say that my arm power still needs to be developed so chances are you may discover interesting extensions to this disc's capacities.
It remains an outstanding disc in this category and the plastic is simply amazing as always with Kastaplast. Beginners and intermediate players will definitely enjoy throwing this one.

My go to straight disc
The Kaxe Z is my go to straight flying disc. Throw it hard, goes straight with a soft fade at the end, throw it soft, straight with a soft fade at the end. The Kastaplast K1 Soft is my favourite plastic as well!
