The Soft Magnet “Chain Slammin’ Device” gives you all the great attributes of the Discraft Magnet, combined with super soft plastic. This floppy disc is more tacky and offers a better grip for a more consistent release.
The Soft Magnet makes an excellent short hole driver or approach disc. For drives, the Soft Magnet has a slight amount of turn followed by moderate low speed fade.
One of the best things about the Soft Magnet is that the “soft” plastic is a variation of the inexpensive Pro-D plastic. That makes it one of the least expensive super soft putters on the market.
Great feel, works better for me than my beginner putter.
I’m still really new to the world of disc golf. My beginner set putter seemed to spend a lot of time bouncing out of the baskets.
This soft putter feels good to throw. For my (lack) of throwing style, it also seems to ‘stick’ better in the basket chains. I’m certainly getting fewer bounces with this disc!
