I’ve been trying to find a 10/11 speed overstable driver to match my other long term 11 speed neutral and under stable discs and after trying a few molds the Photon (168g) seems to be a good match. It has a slightly shallower rim depth (1.1) as compared to some discs in this bracket. For my arm speed (naturally a 7-9] it is overstable and has a bit more glide and distance than the Felon I bag. Again for my arm, it is OS right out of the hand I don’t plan on using it for much else. No doubt faster arms will be able to use this as straight/flex shot driver.
The flight plate plastic is firm and not tacky. I normally prefer a bit of give but in reality I’ve not noticed this being an issue. To me the flight numbers are more 11/5/0/3 . It is a good windy day disc.
Overall I’m pleased with this disc. It’s not profoundly ground breaking but fits my bag in a specific slot, fits my hand and grip, and flies consistently. Will be staying in the bag.
