Discraft ESP FLX plastic is a special version of ESP with added flexability. It adds a soft, flexible polymer that retains its form and stability very well.
The Discraft Heat debuted as the 2014 Ace Race proto and quickly caught fire with players for its control, glide and distance at slower arm speeds. It has a smaller rim for easier grip, and is being hailed as a breakthrough in delivering improved distance for new and developing players.
Backhand throws - not as unforgiving as, say, a Roadrunner (if you throw a Heat slightly off the correct release angle, it auto corrects itself, rather than turn into a roller). Forehand oddly, it does the opposite. It tries to turn into a roller rather than autocorrect.
